Catechesis of the Good Shepherd

Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS) is a Montessori-based Orthodox religious education program. The atrium (classroom) provides an environment for children to explore the rich proclamations of our faith through the use of materials that the children may handle. Currently, we offer a Level 1 program for children ages three to six years old, preschool through Kindergarten, as part of the curriculum at The Basilica of St. Mary Montessori Academy (BOSMMA). Children ages 3-6 can attend one 45-minute session each week during the school year; as a parent, you can choose to opt-out of these sessions.
