Week 6 - On your mark, get set, SPORTS!
Campers will experience fun and engaging activities that encourage children to be healthy in body and mind for life. Integrating self-confidence, teamwork, and leadership skills into our activities. Every activity and game has a purpose. We don’t build athletes for sport. We build people through sports.
Week 5 - Camp Invention
In partnership with the National Inventors Hall of Fame® (NIHF), BOSMMA is excited to offer the nationally acclaimed Camp Invention® program to K-6 children as an in-person experience. In this weeklong summer adventure, children rotate through several hands-on activities and use creative thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving skills to bring their biggest ideas to life.
Featuring take-apart microphones, robotic crickets, duck-launching devices, and morphing vehicles, this summer’s program, Recharge, is packed full of super fun, confidence-boosting STEM activities!
Camp begins on 8/2/2021 with Abeer Samaan serving as Director. Our local educators will facilitate the program and enthusiastic high school students will serve as Leadership Interns.

Week 5 - Disney
Campers will dress as their favorite Disney character. They will enjoy karaoke, singing, and dancing, The week will be filled with different fun and creative activities.
Week 4 - Pond theme
(July 28th @9:30 - Mobil Learning/Metro park) Many familiar animals live in the pond. Campers will get a chance to learn more about these beloved favorites, as well as get acquainted with some less familiar pond life! Learn how baby turtles survive, what ducklings eat, and how frogs talk to each other.
Week 3 - Kitchen confidence
Campers will learn the fundamentals of cooking, like reading a recipe, knife skills, and cleanup. They will also learn healthy food choices and how to make healthy meals.
Week 2 - Woodworking
Campers will learn basic skills in working with wood, how to use tools safely and responsibly, and create projects to take home.
Week 1 - Cultivating creativity in the garden
Campers will learn how a tiny seed can grow into plants that give us such a variety of food and flowers while exploring the partnership between plants and pollinators. Hear stories of the fairies and garden gnomes that help us to care for all the growing things. Together we will create a make-believe garden inspired by nature fairies and garden gnomes.
